Deer Hunts

Deer Creek Lodge is located in the middle of Central Alberta's finest Whitetail and Muledeer hunting. All hunts take place in Wildlife Management Unit 224. The majority of hunting here takes place on private land with some hunting on public land. The area is composed of rolling to somewhat rugged terrain to mixed farmland and parkland forest. Hunts are available for both species exclusively or as combo hunts. Hunts are 6 days in length and combos 9 days. All hunters accommodation is in our own Deer Creek Lodge, which is located in the center of our hunting area. 1st class accommodations, and great food are the order of everyday.

Hunt the early season, September -October with archery gear. Our early season hunts offer a great opportunity to hunt these big Alberta Whitetailed and Muledeer in mild weather conditions, and when the bucks are the most patternable. Rifle hunts in November coincide with the rut and the chance of more severe weather to aid in deer movement. Combos are available in both seasons. Moose Hunts

Deer Creek Lodge also provides hunters with the opportunity to hunt the majestic Canadian Moose. Hunts are available to the bow hunter who wants exiting calling action during the rut. Early October is the best time for our bow hunter clients. Hunts are also available for rifle hunters in November. All hunts are in Wildlife Management Unit 224, and accomodations are in our 1st class Deer Creek Lodge. Moose/ Whitetailed or Moose/|Muledeer combos are available to both archers and rifle hunters. Fishing

Deer Creek Lodge offers fantastic Walley fishing at 3 different scenic lakes within 20 minutes of the lodge. There are also opportunities to go after some larger pike at these locations.
